My godmother, Dennie, just sent me these photos of my mother when she was young. Mom - you were so beautiful, and still are of course. Happy Birthday. I love you.

These outdoorsy bags and beautiful fall looks from Lyell make me feel a little better that summer is coming to an end. I get so depressed in September. I hate it when summer is ending and the days start getting shorter.
